How to Start a Free Trial

Getting started with Planet Bonehead is easy and risk-free. Select the PBh Free Trial from the Pricing/Join page, and you’ll get 30 days of full access for up to 2 team members—no payment information is required at checkout.

When your free trial ends, your membership will automatically be cancelled. There’s no way to extend the trial, and additional free trials are not available. If you love PBh and want to continue using it, you’ll need to purchase a paid membership (see next entry).

You can keep your same username and password to maintain your account. To change your membership status, simply log in and purchase a paid membership at any time. If you choose not to continue right away, you’re always welcome to join again in the future when it’s the right time for you.

How to Become a PBh Member

When you’re ready to stay here on Planet Bonehead, choose one of the paid membership tiers: PBh Classroom, PBh School, or PBh District, based on the needs of your school or district. Payment terms depend on your selected payment method.

Credit card: payment required immediately at checkout.

Bank transfer: payment must be completed within 10 days of placing your order.

Purchase order: a valid P.O. must be submitted within 10 days to support@planetbonehead.com, with payment completed according to the terms outlined in the P.O., typically within 30 days.

If none of the provided tiers feels like the right fit for your school, or if you’d like to discuss your options, schedule a free Zoom call with Bobby. Together, we can explore how PBh can meet your needs and create a membership plan tailored to your goals and budget.

How Teams and Seats Work

Each Planet Bonehead membership tier establishes the purchaser as the team owner and primary manager of a team. A team includes a set number of available seats for team members, depending on the tier you choose:

Free Trial: Seats up to 2 team members

PBh Classroom: Seats up to 2 team members

PBh School: Seats up to 30 team members

PBh District: Seats unlimited team members in included schools

As the team owner, you’ll manage your team’s membership, including assigning and removing seats, to ensure the right individuals have access to PBh resources.

A “seat” allows an individual to access PBh resources under your membership. When purchasing a membership, you’ll see a checkbox option labeled:

Take up a seat (optional)

Use a seat to add me as a team member.

This gives you, the purchaser, the choice to occupy one of the available seats yourself. For example, if you’re an administrator managing the account and don’t need personal access to the teaching resources, you can leave this box unchecked to save seats for others on your team.

If you choose not to take a seat, you can still manage your team as the account owner. You’ll have full control over team settings, including adding or removing members.

Team Roles and Definitions

Team: A group of people included in your PBh membership (like the teachers in your school), based on the number of seats available in your tier.

Team Owner: The person who purchases the membership and manages the team, including adding and removing members and assigning seats. The owner doesn’t automatically take up a seat but can choose to do so during setup.

Team Member: An individual assigned a seat on the team, with full access to PBh resources. Team members cannot manage the team unless promoted to a manager.

Team Manager: A team member with additional permissions, such as adding/removing members and managing seats. The team owner can assign or remove manager status at any time.

Adding Team Members and Assigning Team Managers

As the team owner, you can add team members to your Planet Bonehead account and, if needed, assign one or more members as Team Managers to help manage the team. Here’s how to do it:

Adding Team Members

  1. Log in to your PBh account.
  2. Navigate to the “Team” tab in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the “Add Member” sub-tab.

Choose how you’d like to add team members:

  • Manually: Enter their email address to invite them directly.
  • Shareable Link: Copy the unique team invite link and send it to potential members, allowing them to join on their own.

To assign a team member as a manager:

  1. Go to the “Members” sub-tab under the “Team” section.
  2. Locate the team member you want to assign as a manager.
  3. Click the “Set as Manager” button next to their name.

You can also remove manager status by clicking the same button, which will now say “Remove as Manager.”

As the team owner, you’ll always have access to:

  • Reviewing all current and pending team members.
  • Removing members to free up seats for others.
  • Updating roles and permissions as needed.

What About Refunds?

At Planet Bonehead, our main objective is to provide a useful environmental education resource for teachers to use in the classroom.

Your paid membership or Social Impact Partnership serves as a contribution to help us continue production and distribution to teachers who desperately need it.

In order to provide this program at such a low cost to schools, and provide no-hassle free trials, we do not have the staff or resources to process refunds. Therefore, please understand that we don't offer refunds or money-back guarantees.

However, you are free to cancel any paid membership or partnership at any time to avoid future charges.
