Saving the Sea Turtles

Sea turtles are majestic creatures whose lives we know little about once they disappear into the ocean's depths. But we do know how human activity like boating, fishing and beach-going can be harmful to sea turtles when we are not careful. Sea turtles often get struck by reckless boaters, or tangled in discarded fishing line. They mistake plastic bags thrown into the ocean for jellyfish, and eat them. And their nests and hatchlings can easily be harmed by seemingly innocent beach activity like digging holes or adding artificial light.
